Forza Capital: Running capital raises from one system with Attio and Brevo

Forza Capital is an independently owned property investment group based in Melbourne. They provide strategic investment opportunities to wholesale and sophisticated investors, and their reputation rests on disciplined execution and strong investor relationships.

The challenge

Forza had been running investor relationships in Affinity, with their agreement coming up for renewal. The bigger issue was the capital raise process itself, which ran manually outside any system. During a book build, the team needed to reach around 1,500 investors with professional, branded communications, track who was interested, and make sure replies landed with the right person. All of it was managed by hand.

What we did

We migrated Forza from Affinity to Attio and built a data model that matches how a property investment group actually works: funds, holdings, investors, prospects and book builds, all connected. Historical data came across in structured templates that Forza reviewed and approved before loading, so the team started with clean records they could trust.

Then we connected Brevo for investor communications and built the workflow that makes it useful. When a capital raise kicks off, the team selects investors in Attio and runs a single workflow. It creates the book build entries, tags each investor, and syncs their details through to Brevo ready for the information memorandum to go out. Replies route straight to the right person's mailbox. Subscription preferences let investors choose what they want to receive, from newsletters and research to investment opportunities, and do-not-contact flags in Attio sync across so the wrong email never goes out.

We ran admin training and end user training sessions, all recorded so they can be reused as the team grows, and backed the activation with a warranty period of break-fix support.

The outcome

Forza now runs the full capital raise lifecycle from one system. The pipeline, the investor records and the communications all connect, and a book build that used to be managed by hand is now a workflow the team runs themselves.

"Forza Capital engaged Crawl Walk Run to design and implement a CRM system built around Attio that suited the demands of a sophisticated, client-driven business. The experience was a strong one. Ben took the time to understand how we operate, was receptive to our ideas, and then proposed a solution that was streamlined and fit for purpose rather than over-engineered. He was also generous with his time on several matters adjacent to the build that fell outside the scope of the engagement."
